Route to Wootton Farm
September 26 @ 12:00 pm - 12:15 pm
Wootton Farm, Pencombe, Herefordshire HR7 4RR
If you come via Bromyard, sat nav may try to take you from Bromyard through the lanes to Pencombe. There is no direct access to Alex’s house that way at the moment because of a closed road.
From Bromyard take the A465 towards Hereford. Follow to the junction with A417 (Burley Gate), turn right, 3rd exit, onto the A417. In about 4 miles there is a junction made obvious by a line of poplar trees on the edge of the main road. By the trees, the lane off the A417 to the right is signed PENCOMBE. There are road closure signs there. Ignore them. The lane is closed about 2.5miles further up. You can get to Alex’s house before the closure.
Follow the lane up hill for about 2 miles. Turn left opposite a cream coloured house, not signposted. Wootton Farm is the first driveway on the left in about 200yds. The driveway is about 1mile up to the farm, tarmac with cattlegrids!
Alternatively you can use the route below to access Wootton Farm. Start points for reference only!
Please aim to be there at 12:00 prompt.
