WHAM Day Out – Tregaron & Newquay

WHAM Day ride. Tregaron and Newquay.Starting at the OK Diner in Leominster, Leg 1 takes us to the Halt Cafe near Rhayader via Presteigne and the Llanbister Road.
Leg 2 is the real highlight of the trip taking in the excellent Newbridge to Beulah road then over the Mountain Road to Tregaron. We then head down the cracking ‘B’ road to Newquay for fish & chips by the sea.
Leg 3 returns on the bigger A roads via Lampeter and Llandovery to the Little Chef at Builth Wells for an afternoon cuppa.
Leg 4 is a straight forward run back to the start point at Leominster.
Meet at the Diner at 08:30 for a 09:00 start.
Please arrive with a full tank of fuel and buy your coffee from the OK Diner not the garage. (They don’t like us filling up their car park an using the facilities if we don’t buy anything from them).

Please arrive at least 15 minutes before scheduled time to sort riding groups. Please refer to our Program Page for ride-out details.
Please familiarise yourself with our Group riding Policy before joining a ride-out.

All riders are reminded to check the weather forecast before each ride. If the temperature falls below 3 degrees please remember that the road temperature can be lower and there will be a risk of black ice. In addition heavy flooding and high winds add considerable risks to motorcyclists. WHAM will not normally cancel rides due to weather conditions so it is up to each rider to make their own decision whether it is safe to ride or not.
